This started as a bit of a challenge for Hacksaw. Otto made this crazy set of timing changes, to which Hacksaw had to respond. If you listen carefully, you’ll hear Otto and Jerfo add a beat. In the sections in 7, J and O play the last one as if it had one more note. Later the prog middle bit got suggested by Jerfo, and adopted. Note the 80’s fuzzy bass in that section.
Private Circus would like to thank the small rubber spider that provided valuable bass dampening assistance. Also, hats off to Wango Maltese.
Innovative, yet personal, yet odd. Very rhythmic but interlaced. I dunno, words fail. I listened to Riposte 40 times before I listened to another album. Private Circus
